I like this boy I met after going away to college. I really like him but the problem is I am very, very, shy. I don't know how to let him know I like him. We hang out alot but when I start to talk to him I feel like I am going to puke and end up just answering him with yes or no. I would appreciate any advice you can give.

Are you a very nervous person?.I'm and I have the same problem.I had lost many opportunities because this phenomenal problem.I had tried many ways and the results are the same.However,they are some hope in your case because you're a female.Send the message to the guy.A little flirt,some deep look with intentions might work for you.Anyhow,don't quit.Try and try.Good luck.

I suggest you write him a letter. Be open and honest, and explain that you're just too shy to come right out and tell him how you feel. Tell him how you feel when you're talking to him (but I'd leave out the part about the puking), and ask if he is at all interested. As it is, if he has mutual feelings for you, he's probably very put off that you won't have a decent conversation with him, and figures you aren't interested.
