Bail bond is returned when the suspect is not convicted or when the case against him is withdrawn.

Once your arrested and bail set there are 2 ways of posting bail. 1st. if you or someone you know you can post bail usually 10%,that is held until your case is done. Then your 10% will be returned either right there or within a short period of time. Ask the judge he probably will grant it right away.2nd. POst thru bail bondsman, they will charge you 10%+ collateral that you will never get back. Thats how they make their money!!!

It is when the case is resolved that you can have your bail back. Go to the court.

You won't receive your bond back until your case is resolved. In most cases if you are found not guilty, then your bond may be released at that time. If you are found guilty, then your bond may not be released until you are sentenced (which depending on your case can be immediately or at a later date). Also if you have any fines or fees, it may be deducted from your bond as well.

Your judge will be one who makes the call on whether to release your bond or not. So at the outcome of your case, I would just ask the judge about what it takes for you to receive your bond. In some cases, you may just have to go to a different department in the courthouse to claim it. This only applies if you posted a bond. If someone else did it for you, then they will have to be the one to claim it.

Did you have a Bail Bondsman ? If He can't help you, the Court Clerks Office is your best bet. Good Luck !!

Usually you get the money back, minus any court cost, from the court house, Most times from the city clerk's office, depending on the county you are in.

you only get your bail back if you paid the full amount, not the 10 percent
