Dear sonoffm,

If a prophet is wrong then they would be considered a false prophet. In Deuteronomy God warns that if someone claims to have a prophecy in God's name and the prophecy does not true then they would be a prophet.

In the Bible a prophet is someone who had a message from God. This is important because not everyone who claims to have a message from God is delivering a message from God. This is why the Bible warns people to examine the teachings and life of the prophet, and it's why it's important for people to read and study the Bible and be able to identify true teaching from false teaching.

Hope that helps. Kindly,

Nickster

If a prophet declares Gods word and is proven wrong through time or biblically, then they are no prophet at all.

A prophet never contradicts the bible, and a prophet never declares a vision from god that can be proven wrong.

God does not contradict himself and would never send a prophet to state that God is or was wrong and is now trying to "fix" the problem.

It means he is not a real prophet... maybe, he wants to be a prophet but just doesn't have the calling from God.

Some young prophets make mistakes, they let flesh get in the way.Best to pray for them.
If this is an on going thing, your pastor needs to pull them aside and have a good long talk.Test the spirits, they must line up eith the word.<><

He is not of God and he is a false prophet. This is why we must discern everything with God's Word. Man's words and opinions are useless unless it agrees with the Truth which is found in God's Word. God bless
