Fortunately, I live near several liquor stores that are open for another hour.

I think Pascal himself actually intended his wager as a joke. But don't tell the Christians.

Pascal's wager doesn't work anyway. You cannot pretend to have a belief in a god. By any definition of a god, the god will know you are pretending so there is no point in pretending. You either believe or you don't, there are no grey areas. If people are relying on Pascal's wager to support a belief in gods they have a very poor opinion of their gods.

A lot of Christians seem to forget that there are more than 2 categories of people. Some of them think in very black and white terms. When I say, "I'm not a Christian" it is often an automatic assumption by people that I'm an Atheist. I don't know why they think like this. But they do.

I'm a Christian, and I agree with you. If a person says, "Ok, because of Pascal's Wager, I'll believe in God, because I don't want to go to hell. I'd rather play it safe than sorry." That is not genuine belief in God --it's a false conversion. God does not want, nor would He accept, such a confession. Repentance and faith in Him must be genuine. We are to worship Him in Spirit and truth.......and we must believe with all our heart that He is who He says He is. Anything less is not true belief.

There are religions where Pascal's Wager really has no context. Most of the Neo-Pagan faiths don't believe that if you're not Neo-Pagan you'll be damned, for example.

Because when Pascal said that, there is only Christianity and non Christianity.

So Christian are using that as a base that humans should believe in god as there are no loses in believing in their god.

I don't! I am a Christian and I believe what he said is incorrect. it seems to me to be a fake belief. obviously only God can judge the heart though.

I think if a person decides to believe in God just in case there really is one, it's not going to help him.
