Thinking about getting one, but dont know how much is it or how to use it. Help. My friend has been getting in my stash of junkfood and want to catch him.

i dont know that a pinhole camera is exactly what you are looking for, it make sense in your situation because you can uncover and recover the pinhole when ever you want for as long as you want, but i dont know that it would be the very best option for spying on someone.
that being said, you can make them out of oatmeal tins and other things fairly easily and for pretty much free. my best friend made me one for my birthday a couple of years ago and i love it. here are a few links on pinhole cameras and how to construct your own

A tiny camera, comes from a spy store, bad ethics. Have a conversation with your friend, maybe buy him his favorite junk foods for a treat.
