You are accepted in the Beloved. That is scripture, and God has accepted you because of what Christ did,, not because of what you do.
Ask God to help you forgive yourself. And realize that ALL have fallen short of the Glory of God.
Do not allow the devil to keep your thought on what you have done.
Take every thought into captivity to the obediance of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Rebuke any thought that would exalt itself above the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ
This is taught in scripture.

Forgiving is not forgetting.
Jesus may forgive even before you ask for help, but you're still left with dealing with the consequence of your sin. Maybe you lost popularity, people see you as vulnerable, you're worried about people's gossip - all reasons for which you "can't forgive yourself".
But being forgiven also means picking yourself up and facing the consequence of sin bravely. To say "let it come. God will help me."

Coz you have still not figured out the reason of GOD behind it and are therefore troubled at heart with self doubt.
As a start, remember whatever happens, happens for good and try to figure out the reasons of your failures staying positive throughout. Then you will definitely overcome "self defeat".

God is not a God of condemnation...you must forgive yourself or you don't really believe that God is a forgiving God (as long as you have repented- meaning confessed and turn from your ways). Forgiving yourself is not a license to sin more...but learning and moving on..this really is a situation that can be dealt with on your knees...it'll be OK

You can. Ask God to help you to forgive your self and give your self time to learn your new way of thinking. After many years of being a certain way, you'll need to retrain your self, and with Gods help it can happen. Change is always possible, if you want it. Best wishes to you.

Read Romans Chapter 8.
Forgiveness is a decision. Like tearing up an I.O.U.
Feelings will follow, like a caboose on a train.

Because you haven't found God in yourself yet.
To move beyond self defeat, you should look at yourself in a more positive light.

If you cannot forgive yourself for something, you are saying that Christ's death was not enough to cover your sin. And, that's just not true.
Psalm 103:8-12
8 The Lord is compassionate and merciful,
slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
9 He will not constantly accuse us,
nor remain angry forever.
10 He does not punish us for all our sins;
he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve.
11 For his unfailing love toward those who fear him
is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth.
12 He has removed our sins as far from us
as the east is from the west.

Just know that when GOD forgives you it is thrown into the sea of forgetfulness. He will not bring it up again. That my friend is Satan trying to remind you. He wants you to feel worthless. You are not. You have been forgiven.
