Such a little mind. I agree with one of our founding fathers:
“Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear”
- Thomas Jefferson

Pascal's wager:
"If god exists, it's infinitely better to believe, since you get heaven instead of hell for eternity. If he doesn't, it doesn't matter since you're dead anyway. So overall it's better to believe"
This is, of course, false.
Some of the problems with the argument:
* The implied assumption that god may exist (with a 50% probability, no less!)
* The assumption that there is an afterlife with a heaven and hell
* The assumption that the god cares about belief in him/her above all else
* The assumption that if you believe in a god, it will definitely be the same god that actually exists.
* The assumption that you lose nothing if it's false. You have lost a great deal, from time praying to a nonexistent entity (some people pray several hours a day!!!) to morality (your god may ask you to hurt other people) and much more besides.
* The assumption that people can believe in something simply because it benefits them. Would you believe goblins exist for twenty bucks? Why not?
* The assumption that any god won't see through the "believing just to get into heaven" ploy.

If your wrong you going to lose nothing unless the Jews or Muslims are right but if you are right then you will have to live forever and ever and ever not knowing how god did it and why he did it unless he answers you but then you couldn't tell anyone that didnt already know or couldnt find out for them self. and that not helping anyone, so the question is would you want to know everything and not tell anyone or not no and live as normal, but im just rambaling on and on and on... i think i should drink too

As Christians we are called by Jesus to make disciples. Trying to convert people by appealing to fear or "what do they have to lose?" is not a way of making discliples, it is a way of making converts.
Jesus doesn't need any more converts, He needs disciples.

When I die I will have lived a life free of fear You will have lived in fear all your life
I need not worry about judgeing you now or later You must
I don't need to do anything You must go about fear mongering living in a slave type fear of "sin"
If I die and I am wrong and god sends me to hell I know that this is a god of evil and I will be glad to be shot of him
You will live with the evil god that tortures people forever - Good luck with that

What you people just cannot understand is that believing or not believing is not a choice. I see no evidence to believe therefore I cannot. I could pretend to believe. That is not the same thing. But I am not worried about it.

If you're wrong, you've wasted a large portion of your life in a church.
If we're wrong, Oprah will call me right this instance and adopt me.

What do you have to lose ?
Only wasting your whole life on this planet as a slave dog ,
While we live free .
Some of us just are not cut out to be slaves ,
But if it makes you happy . . .then live on bended knee.

ask yourself that question...what if you're wrong? what if Islam is really the right religion? Islam condemns all nonbelievers to an eternity of torment and suffering. Is that something you're prepared to handle?
