I will gladly place your family in my prayers... what your husband went through must be very tramatizing. my heart goes out to both of you, as it must also be hard for you as well.
even though I'm initally not for the war, I am not against the troops. I spport them with all my heart.
as you say, they are only doing their job...
and my prayers go out to everyone who has lost someone in Iraq or elsewhere.

I know how hard it can be when you find out the mission they were pulled from ended in the deaths of everyone who went on it. My fiance (I sometimes refer to him as my husband already as we've been engaged forever with the deployment) was pulled from the blackhawk crash in January at the very last second. He had a lot of survivor's guilt to deal with for awhile.
I'm glad your husband is alive and well. My mine should be home in June sometime. I hope your husband makes it back ok. All soldiers and their families are in my daily prayers.

You completely have my prayers, support, and respect! What your husband is doing in Iraq is probably the most toughest career in the world, and all military officers and their families deserve a lot more respect than they get. My dad is a police officer, and I want to be a police officer too, and they're both in the same boat. I give you my prayers!! I Hope he returns home safely. God Bless.

I feel terrible for the people who are being asked to do that job, since I'm totally opposed to the US role in Iraq. The sooner they can come home so no more will die the better. It seems so unfair for the soldiers to go through the trials and suffering that they do for no purpose when the Iraqis don't even want them there. And the suffering of the Iraqi people is even far greater, but not much thought about by most Americans.

I think most people are, I'm very sorry for the hard times you and your family are going through. Your husband is a very brave and honorable man and I hope he comes home safe as well as all of our troops.

We pray for those brave heroes every day. Freedom is not free. He knows that well. Those of us who have given service to this country are never appreciated enough. Know that My family and myself support both him and his mission. May God's grace bless and protect him and his family.

You, your husband and the rest of your family will be in my prayers.
The children in my son's school pray for all the soldiers every day (yes, he's in a Christian school).
Next time you speak to him please tell him my whole family says "thank-you" for protecting this country.
