I'm very sorry about your loss.
It sounds like you are talking about Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation.
There is an article about it below.

It's really hard to tell with such a little bit of information but one thing you could check on is if she may have had leukemia. That is one reason why she could have had a high white count without signs of infection.

Blood clots in organs, usually the lungs, heart, and brain can be very deadly. They are called an embolism.

I'm so sorry for the loss of you Mom and I'm sending you a hug.

I'm very sorry for your loss. It sounds as though your mom may have had leukemia. Generally, blood work with a high white blood cell count indicates an infection. In the absence of an infection, high white count could indicate cancer. Leukemia is basically cancer of the blood. Once again, I'm sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss reguardless of when it happened. I would pin the drs. down and tell them their answer was unacceptable. If she had clots all over then how can they say this didn't kill her. A clot to the lung, heart or brain could have killed her. Since there were no signs of anything else, I vote it was the clots unless her blood sugars were not under contol.

Could be a leukemia which is cancer of the blood. Ussually in leukemia, white blood cell count is very elevated and sometimes they are making clots. But the best way of knowing is going to that doctor asking him the cause of death of your mother, the exacte name of the disease. Then you will find, here or elsewhere people to tell you what exactly does it mean.
I'm sorry for your mother, may her rest in peace.
Cristiana

White blood cells fall into 5 different kinds of white cells. Some are macrophages, which eat dead or injured tissue. Some are elevated from virus, others for bacteria, others for cancer, and some for allergies, so unless you know the specific ones that were elevated, it really is anybody's guess. Sorry.

actually your mon died when the white blood cells eat the red ones and because the red BC has no food to eat, it suffers from ulcer. the white blood cell's stomach burst when it consumes all the red ones.
