It doesn't tell us not to learn other languages. The apostle Paul could speak several languages. The sign on the cross of Jesus had writing in three languages.

LANGUAGES AND DAY OF PENTECOST
Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

I believe that God wants us to be instruments of his peace and in order to spread the message to the masses it is necessary to learn more than one language.
