For example, when I correctly stated that the Koran says “Infidels must accept Islam; if they resist you, kill them and God will surely deliver them into your hands.” This is the truth, but I got several thumbs-down. Are they trying to ignore the truty?

On Yahoo Answers, or anywhere, you rarely get straight facts from Muslims.

Why? Because it is a great sin to speak the truth if it shames the Qu'ran or their religion--they do not even speak among themselves in a questioning manner that reveals faults, and they avoid contradictions in the Qu'ran.

To shame Allah or his "prophet", such as printing a picture of Muhammad wearing a dynamite-turban, it is as bad as leaving Islam—and it may cost you your life in some countries.

It's called: TAQUEYA, legal lying to defend the faith; whereas, "The Book" the Koran says you must believe all God's prophets to be good Muslim. And "the Book" says all liars will have their part in the Lake of Fire.

Do you want truth from the Bible? Just like God allowing Judas to betray Jesus, Islam was allowed to punish apostate Christians and it is also destined for extinction--read: "The Rise, Decline, and Death of Islam in Bible Prophecy" at www.revelado.org/islam.htm

You see, the prophets, all descendants of Abram, knew about the destiny of Islam. If I admitted the Qu'ran was conflicting, then I would search for something better, even if it meant moving away from Shari law to a religious-free country.

Hmmm... was it a quote about 4 or 10 screens long? Then I might have given it thumbs down just so I didn't have to scroll past it to read and compare the other answers...

Hahahahahahaa! JUST KIDDING!!!

But, you CAN'T know that it was Muslims unless they told you that they were Muslims and that they gave you thumbs down.. oh.. wait.. EVEN THEN.. they could be lying.. they might be some Hermit Monks of Tibet who have totally sworn off the modern convienences of man, trying to give Muslims a bad name.. *GriN* Just kidding.. that kind of person would not have a computer.. ok.. so it must be the Omish from Indiana.. or are they in Ohio?

nowadays, we cannot trust some websites that have quotes from Koran such as:

1. www.answering-islam.org

2. www.aboutislam.com

3. www.thequran.com

4. www.allahassurance.com

these quote from Koran have been twisted by some ignorant people that anti islam. they claim that the quote is from Koran and when we check it from the Koran, the quote is not in Koran. they had created it to make someone believe that Islam is a bad religion. if you want to know more about islam, ask Imam, or any real muslims out there. don't just take it from any unknown and untrusted websites

Some anti-Islamic Arabic speaking people say that the word "Islam" means particularly to "surrender". This is a clear lie, because "Islam" in Arabic means "submission".

force someone to convert to islam is forbidden in islam.

"Let there be no compulsion (forcing others) in religion: Truth stands out clear from error...(The Noble Quran, 2:256)"

Thumbs down is for the point of balloting which answer you desire the ideal. that's via no potential meant to be a private slang against the different man or woman. it truly is the reporting that irritates me. the only reason to record a query or answer is in spite of if that's in violation of yahoo community regulations, and not because of the fact somebody disagrees. however the thumbs up and thumbs down is your way of balloting (like calling in to American Idol or Dancing with the celebrities to vote on your sought after). a minimum of that's what i've got been given to comprehend approximately it. i'm a Christian, and that i, too get thumbs down on my solutions, yet i don't take it in my view. It in basic terms tells me that not each physique has an identical opinion with what I could desire to assert. of direction it DOES trojan horse me while my answer is logical, concise, and scientifically precise, and that i nonetheless get thumbs down. It in basic terms makes me unhappy that some people do not care approximately info (*sigh*).

First

What makes you think Muslims are giving you the thumbs down.

What of the POLITICALLY CORRECT

The WHITE idiots who THINK they have to kiss whatever to be a high class person

If MUSLIMS are, indeed, giving a THUMBS DOWN, then THEY ARE CRITICSING THE QUARN

which is WRONG

IF Muslims are, indeed, giving a tHUMBS DOWN, then theya re CRITICSING the TRANSLATOR

Any MUSLIM that gives a THUMBS DOWN to a TRUE Qur'an QUOTE

IS VIOLATING THE RULES OF ISLAM

And they WILL NOT SEE HEAVEN

The Qua'ran SAYS SO

THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO MOCK the Qua'ran

It makes them INFIDELS

NO Islamic is ALLOWED to MOCK or RE-WRITE

The Holy Book

IT IS A VIOLATION OF ISLAM TO MOCK OR RE-WRITE THE HOLY BOOK

Any TRUE ISLAMIC who does that is either saying the person who CLAIMS TO KNOW ARAMATIC is a fool

OR they are saying the HOLY BOOK is a fool

They have LOST their place in Heaven THE MOMENT they defile the QUR'AN

NO IMAM, CLERIC or AYOTOLLAH will DISAGREE WITH ME

NO Muslim is ALLOWED to think

THEY MUST FOLLOW WHAT THE BOOK SAYS OR THey foRFIT everything

They BECOME AN INFIDEL

Now, what it comes down to is THIER view of ARAMATIC vs the TRANSLATORS VIEW

If the TRANSLATOR is VERY HOLY and VERY RESPECTED

Then THEY are in serious trouble for a THUMBS DOWN

Now is it TROLLS, MUSLIMS, IDIOTS, ATHIESTS or CHRISTANS who are giving the THUMBS DOWN

DO YOU KNOW IT FOR A FACT

I would give you a thumbs down for not writing the name of the book correctly. It's called "Qur'an", not "Koran".

Also, what makes you so sure Muslims are giving you thumbs down? Unless you have a special version of this website, I don't see how you can identify who it is that doesn't really like you very much... ;)

People thumbs down for everything. Don't worry about it. Just hope that the questioner realizes who is actually answering to the best of their knowledge and who is just spewing from the mouth.

You got it. I have experienced the same thing in the past. Quoted directly from my copy of the Qur'an but it wasn't a copy of a good part.

Here is the example I used several months ago:

The Qur'an, Surah V 51 says; O you who believe! do not take the Jew and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.

In the Qur'an's Surah IX, v.30 it also says: And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!

Islam teaches Muslims to hate and destroy Jews and Christians. It is not a religion of love and tolerance for their brother human beings. They are to "Strike the infidel at the neck"

Again.... I agree.....how can you be put down when you quote directly out of the book? I didn't say this....I read it.

How do you know it was Muslims that gave you the thumbs down. It could have been anyone. Maybe you are coming off as a racist, small minded person. Who knows? I don't know the Koran as well as you apparently do, so I can't say if what you are saying is correct or not.

It's not the truth for the Christians - you can be relatively sure that they do it. If it was a particularly long copy and paste quote, which we get quite frequently here, then anyone could have done it.
