Cardio activity is your objective, because fat burning appears to be your goal. Activity which exceeds cardio heart levels causes the body to burn glycogen rather than fat. And here's some Good News; running ( ugh ! ) often raises an individual's heart rate well above what is needed to maintain cardio So this is one of these situations in life where pushing yourself (even a little bit too hard), is a bad thing.
Purchase a heart rate monitor. They are no longer expensive. Maintain your heart rate at a level (in beats per minute) of 180 minus your age. You will soon find that a vigorous walk on a slight upgrade, is enough to do the job. Maintain this level of excercize for at least 20 minutes per day. And avoid getting into a slow run at ALL COSTS. Slow running puts the greatest stress on all lower limb joints, and is responsible for more stress injuries among runners, than all other reasons combined.
The average adult who is not excercizing needs 8 cups of clean water each day, to maintain proper hydration. This means that you will need 10 - 12 cups of water per day if you do the suggested 20 minutes. Avoid the blood sugar rush which candy and fruit juice gives you, by eating whole fruit, and other, healthier snacks.

Start by walking and build up to running. Swing your arms to get the blood pumping. Start by walking 1/2 mile and work up to 3 a day, throw in an occasional 5 miler. Or try walking 1 mile, jogging 1/2 then walking again. You'll be more likely to stick to it if you break it down into smaller goals.
No candy and soda is good BUT juices contain a lot of sugar.
Go with water, and eat fruit. Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
Allow yourself some kind of treat every time you make a major goal.

Right, juices can have a lot of calories but won't fill you up. From my experience, running alone will not help you lose weight. Weight training helped me go from 140 to 115 in just a few months. Perhaps you should try 30 minutes of running with 30 minutes of weight training 5 times a week. Good luck!

to loose body fat you'd only need a good 20 mins a day if your serious but could even do every second day.Try skipping or riding a bike they also build muscle. If ya went out and ran 1hour everyday you'll probably get bored of it and give up. So just start easy with 20 min sessions.

It is a good plan, but if I were you I wouldn't drink juices just because some of them are packed with sugar, that you wouldn't even think. if anything, drink tomato or grapefruit juice. And remember to eat a well balanced diet with alot of fresh fruit and veggies, Good luck on your weight loss!!!

No. The surgeon general recommends at least two cookies or candies a day and four "sippy cups" of juice.
