I'm just wondering because I want to join the USAF as a pilot of a fighter/bomber when I become and adult.

I know you need perfect vision, and you need to be pretty good academically. Chances are if you didn't go to an ok college after high school you won't have what it takes. I know the vision in important though. My dad got denied back in the day for having glasses, and I remember hearing that today many of the guys undergo lasik to get even better than 20/20 vision. Also some of those flights can be up to 40 hours in a bomber so you need the endurance, but that can come with training I guess.

You must be VERY physically fit with perfect vision...

You cannot be overly tall or short (you'd need to check with them for the exact height requirements) because the equipment is designed for people of a specific size range.

You need to be a U.S Citizen and be in good shape physically, mentally and psychologically. That's why BUSH is NOT a Pilot.
