What do you think of when you hear K-Mart?

Also did you know that K-mart bought out Sears, not the other way around? K-mart would like to emulate Target stores success. Do you think that would save them?

K-Mart reminds me of the movie "Rainman." I agree with what Ray (movie character) says about it. "K-Mart sucks!" LOL and tee hee hee. K-Mart shopping is not for me.

I do NOT like it!

There is a Kmart within walking distance of me, but I gladly get in the car and drive elsewhere, even when I just need a box of envelopes or something. The Kmart is always trashed--the building itself is in bad shape, the displays are in disarray, and the employees look like they really, really hope to be able to kick the meth some day.

There is usually only one register open, with a huge line, and some piece of necessary equipment not working properly. This leads to the cashier screaming at the top of her lungs across the store to whoever's "in charge," who then screams her answer back.

95% of the customers are people who clearly look as if they're there because they have few other options--and because it's conveniently located right near the Goodwill.

It's Cheap. I Mean "Cheap" As In Low Quality Type Stuff. Now, Wal-Mart, That's A Pimp A$$ Store. I Get My Necessities From There.

They went in bankruptcy for a reason and now
Sears is going down the tubes with them .
Sears is dropping the appliance back up policies that made them viable so now K Mart (bought by Sears ) will tank again , but this time with company . (Sears)

Actually I like K-mart, was just in one this morning. I prefer K-mart as it is never as busy as the Walmart Stores, they always have what I'm looking for and the price is right.

KMart having Martha Stewart merchandise is a plus...also we are comfortable with Kenmore (Sears name) Our store is badly managed, but very clean and lovely.
I wish they would all shape up as I do not shop WalMart

We still have one in our city. As a rule it sucks but, I thought I would give it another chance a couple of weeks ago I ended up at walmart and I spent no money there.

We don't even have one in my state anymore, they all got bought out. And yet...I still see comercials for it. Yes, like I really want to drive 4 hours to go see the down-syndrom form of Walmart. (wait was that comment offensive? Oops)

Kmart just needs to close it doors, and/or have Sears take over it lines.
