Besides it isn't the best thing for you health wise I see nothing wrong with it. Many cultures and religions have used drugs to increase their "meditation".

It is definitely NOT wrong.
There are many meditation schools out there that recommend you to use light entheogens such as marijuana to meditate.
It will enhance the meditation in a way you never would have thought possible. You will acheive a sense of great understanding (you'll get a small feeling of this with marijuana alone, but its greatly heightened with meditation).
If used right, marijuana is a great tool, but a tool nevertheless.

Absolutely!!
and any meditation that does not focus on God, but rather an 'emptying of the mind' is Spiritually unhealthy, as you are surrendering your conscience and therefore leaving an wide open doorway for supernatural influences, Using Drugs will only increase this, and further open the doorway of your soul, for more spiritual attraction to manipulate the way you think.
And chanting certain "mantras" is only serving as a "hey come over here, and influence me!" to any ungodly spirit in the area.
If you disagree with most of this, then at least consider the drug use, marijuana causes way more problems then you think, on a spiritual level, physical level, social level and emotional levels. I have lost HEAPS of Good mates to marijuana, they just changed, and most if not all of them went on to harder drugs, and Got Real Stuffed Up,

Morally...no. From a practical standpoint...maybe. Meditation using mind altering substances is something that takes a great deal of discipline and training before the introduction of said substances to have any real benefit. Also, if you put too much importance on the substance you will never develop the ability to quiet your mind without it. You really should learn to attain that calm mind without it...then only use it at times when absolutely necessary.

Marijuana does exactly the opposite. Any meditation teacher worth its salt will tell you to abstain from all recreational drugs for at least 2 weeks prior to any meditation practice.

Let's say its inadvisable, meditation pursued regularly lets you stay at the same state of mind that is only attained intermittently (and at a price) by the use of drugs, without undesirable side effects. The use of drugs is for a different purpose.

God tells us to be "sober", so I cannot help but say that it is wrong in my opinion to come before your God in meditation and prayer in an altered state.
