Duty first. It is a 24 hour commitment meaning you could work days or nights or a combination of both. It also depends on what command you at, who you work for and what the mission is. This isn't a Taco Bell type of job where you work 4 to 10. You will work when you are told to and if you need to or are required to work late you will. That is your job. Yes you can have an e-commerce job on the size, but you cannot you government computers to do so. You may also not conduct any kind of business that is illegal like a porn site. You would be best advised to check with someone senior to you that you work for to make sure whatever you do is legal and ok with the AF. Don't be like the stupid chic that went and posed for Playboy without finding out if it was ok or not. You need to understand what the military is all about. The AF is the easiest branch and they have an outstanding quality of life, but don't go in with gun blazing and say you want to get out of work at whatever time or else. Normally your hours will be something like 7 or 8 in the morning to 3 or 4 in the afternoon give or take and hour on either end. Stop stressing, you have made a great choice and will be very happy with your choice once you get there and figure out your daily routine. It is a huge life change, but you will have tons of fun and be happy you made the choice to enlist.

As a lot of military personnel have found out, there IS no "what time exactly am i going to get out?", that's up to the needs of the military in spite of what you thought it said on your enlistment papers.

Yeah, you can start a business while you're in. And Basic right now is only 6 and a half weeks
