I like cats better because you don't need to bring it outside every time it has to poop. Also, when you go on a vacation you can leave the cat at home and not have to worry about it. I just have to make sure they have enough food and water. I also like the fact that they don't bark, I find it annoying when a dog barks for no reason. I think cats are cute and soft, and I like it when they purr.

Generally speaking, cats. And I have four of them. But I have also had the most wonderful dog in the world for the past 10 and a half years, so, currently my dog holds the #1 spot in my heart...

I prefer cats because they don't need as much care as dogs. If you work long days or go away for the weekend, then cats are fine by themselves. If you had a dog and needed to go away for the weekend, you'd probably have to take the them to a boarding hotel.

I have three cats and two dogs and love them all equally, however honestly I am more of a dog person.

i love both, dogs are loyal and cats are cuddly. I heard a good saying that someone liked cats b/c if a man abuses a dog, it wil still stay loyal to them but if they abuse a cat, it will flick its tail on the way out of their life, but sometimes dogs are funner (if funner is a word)

I love both dogs and cats, but as far as a "fit" in our lifestyle, cats are a better choice.

Both. I had two cats for over 10 yrs and enjoyed them very much. Both are gone now, since then I have two dogs and love them both.

I prefer dogs because you can usually play with dogs more. If your more of a calm person, you sjould try gettig a cat.
