The only way to cure split ends is to not get them in the first place. No actually there is no shampoo that can help you with this but you should get the split ends cut and then you should be getting trims about every 6 weeks or so.

No shampoo "cures" split ends.

Most shampoos tend to agravate or make split ends worse.

There are lots of conditioners out there that help keep split ends from getting worse faster. That's an awkward sentence, but that's the way it is. Even a wee bit of vinegar in the the final rinse water can help keep split ends from getting worse faster.

I've not researched wet/dry cut relative to split ends. I *do* know that sharp scissors cut rather than crush or tear the hair. Hair that's crushed or torn is more likely to split at the ends. That's why many people keep the sharpest scissors just for cutting hair, never paper. It's like stitchers who keep a special pair just to use on silk.

NO shampoo cures split ends. Be sure to cut or trim your hair when it is wet or damp. NEVER cut hair dry because that is what causes split ends. You should use a good shampoo and conditioner. Use a comb and not a brush when your hair is wet. If you use a brush, it has a tendency to pull and stretch each hair until some break, thus split ends. Good luck.

Nothing cures split ends, the best thing to do is to simply cut them off. Split ends will eventually split all the way to the root, and you'll end up combing all that hair out.

Get them cut off, and make sure to use a deep conditioner/protein builder. I'm African American, but my friends and I all swear by hair mayonnaise. It has herbs, egg protein and a ton of other ingredients in it that is good for all hair. Put it in after you shampoo and let it sit for about 45 min or so. Make sure to wash it out with lukewarm water.

Alternatively, real mayonnaise (not miracle whip) and olive oil with do just fine as well

There isn't a shampoo in the world that can cure split ends... I know i know, huge bummer. But what you can do is trim off the split ends and do a deep condition every couple of days. ( I use aussie 3 minute miracle) Switch off from straightening or blowing out your hair to just wearing it natural every now and then. Before you style it, while your hair is wet spray a leave-in conditioner ( infusium or paul mitchell) and use a hair serum (frizzeaze) at the ends . this should prevent split ends!

Once the hair is damaged, nothing is going to cure it. The only solution to spilt ends is to cut them off. You can either get a trim or "dust" which is when you sit down in some good light with a very sharp pair of scissors can snip off each split end as you find it.

The only way to cure split ends is to have a trim.

I would definately not recommend Pantene as it puts a coating over your hair which sure looks good and feels good, but if you go to colour it, the colour will not take to the hair follicle as well. Use a salon shampoo, and give yourself a weekly moisturising mask.

Shampoo does tend to have a drying effect which can be harsh on split ends. You should really concentrate on washing your scalp. Also, piling your hair on your head (a "bee's nest") often leads to tangling of the hair and should be avoided.
