I like both, but sometimes Barqs comes across too strong.
Then Mug is better.

I'm going with Mug.It's richer and thicker than Barq's in my opinion.I believe that is closer to the original style crafted way back at the turn of the century.But nothing beats an A&W at one of the old drive-up restaurants they used to have.Frosty mug taste,yea.

I haven't had either one in quite some time. But A&W by far of all 3 is the best of the lot. I remember my late father going & bringing home a gallon jug of that stuff.
