I was aske a dating question by a guy I know and before I could answer him he said to me I shouldn't have asked you because your a girl and you wouldn't give me a fair answer.

It's not all guys that are like this. Only some guys are like this I personally am not one of those guys. I know for a fact that there are some girls that know a lot more then I do in many things. The reason for this is probably because women have not been allowed education as long as males have through history so because of this it's an old belief that women have smaller brains then males.

He said a fair answer. Hes not saying he knows more he just said your opinion would not be fair. You will be one sided and it would not be helpful to him. You kind of proved it by asking girls to back you up. Obviously he was right about a fair answer.

Not all men are like that !!!
And for the record, men will know more than us on some subjects and not on others.(depending on who we are, and what experience we bring to the table).

sounds like he's tryiing to excersie power over you by trying to subdue you into guilt or making you feel less that what you are, some men are cunning when it comes what i call " verbal intellectual rape" if you ever seen on a movie or in real life rape is about power and beating your coenterpart into submission so one can excersie dominance......but do the womanlly thing.....kick him in his intellectual groin......tell him you just don't want to hear the truth because your a man!!! lol

That has nothing to do with guys thinking they know more than women. This guy just doesnt feel like you can be objective for whatever reason.

Guys have a gene in their DNA that is the "fix it gene"
If it is broken, or needs fixin, we will figure it out on our own, but we do like to get second opinions sometimes... but not from women... cuz most (not all), but most will argue with us... and we get sick of it...
Guys do know more than women...

Either the guy was a jerk or what he was going to ask you probably concerned something that was more "male-minded."
I suggest you don't make generalizations about all guys though, as it brings on exactly that stereotype against you.

Men generally would rather be "right" than correct.

ALL guys want to know stuff, so they get the courage & ask, then do a "take away" by saying you'd be biased.

Some guys are just assholes. Sorry. I'm not though. I think women are better at relationship stuff. Us guys are just to dense to "get it".
