If you are in favor of voting for someone who kills unborn fetuses you are a partaker of his sins. The scripture says not to be a partaker of another man's sins. If you vote for him you are in agreement with what he is about and you can reap the same jugdement that he will reap.

No it isn't. There are so many other elements to consider. A pro life politician might be willing ot close his eyes on the ways North American textile companies are abusing people in third world countries, while a pro choice politician will try to put a stop to it. A pro life politician might be anti immigration, and hard on refugees, while a pro choice politician might be open to them and want to help them.
Not necessarily this way. But I am just mentioning a couple of issues that the Old Testament talks about a lot.
In other words you can't be a single issue voter. you have to look at the whole picture. You will end up voting for a sinner like yourself. You just have to choose which sinner will do the best or worst job of running the country.
I am a Christian, pro life, and very conservative on what are commonly referred to as "moral" issues (my definition of moral issues is quite a bit broader though). Yet I would have picked President Clinton over President Bush any day. Which one is the best Christian? I really don't know. They both have their sins. But I personally found Bill Clinton less offensive. Other Christians would choose Bush. I respect them, just disagree with their choice.
In Canada, I now tend to vote for the most left-winged party: it is pro choice, pro gay marriage, in defence of Lesbians, Gays, transsexuals, etc. A lot of things that have nothing to do with my views. However they have a great social justice program that I feel is more "biblical" than the two more conservative parties. So I pick my issues.
EDIT:
Just read through all the answers. A very interesting page! Most of the answers, including the most conservative, represent positions I have held at different times in my life. I think you deserve a star for setting off this debate.

It is surely a sin to vote for a politician who starts a war.

If you agree with most of their policies and their opposition is pathetic then you will vote for the right person. It can't be a sin because you have not done anything sinful, according to the 10 commandments or the bible. just be sure you're voting for the person right for the job you want done.

If you are a Christian you should vote for the person who has the Christian Values. No matter what the issues are.
And to say that cutting down trees or drilling for oil is a bigger sin than murdering another human being is just total stupidity. I am sorry but that reply is just total ignorance.

no, why would it be, a politicain is seeing what isbest. all you see is the "slaughter of innocent babies" i borrowed the term but keep in mind that abortion had been around for far longer than it has been legal. It is safer now, oh and kills less. Even if abortion gets outlawed, it will still happpen, it's just more dangerous. So by someone who is prochoice it is a person who is responsible to know that it is going to happen regardless but if it's leagl it can be regualted..

I wrestle with this every election. One of the candidates is going to win. Usually it's a choice between two strong candidates. So far, none of them have ever impressed me as upholding true Christian values. So I try to vote for the lesser of two evils. But the lesser of two evils is still evil, so I'm actually thinking of sitting out this next election. I'm wondering if Christians should even vote.

I believe that God is in control of our leadership and those appointed to rule over us are there by His hand. However, as a Christian, it is my obligation to vote for those who uphold God's standards in their personal and political lives. I would not vote for a politician that is pro-murder.

It is not a sin. Pro-choice people don't FORCE women to have abortions. Voting pro-life does not stop abortions, it only forces women to have illegal abortions endangering their life. Isnt that a sin?
