Then why do we worship him? Did he want us to worship him? If he did, isn't that kind of narcissistic? Having other people WORSHIP you? Hmm...

You don't read the Bible much do you, Jesus was great due to everywhere he went things happened, and people are still talking about him, how amazing is that? He raised people from the dead, he went to party's and turned the water into wine, he healed the sick, gave hope to the poor, was a friend to the people, and the Seduces, and Pharisee's was totally pissed off at his actions, due to he did not behave the way they thought he should. Jesus was the happening man, people knew when he showed up, things happened, and peace, joy and love followed him. Pretty amazing how he said to most folks he met, "The Kingdom of God is at Hand" he was the hand of the Kingdom, I am sure if you had something bad in your body, and knew only Jesus could help you, I think you would seek him out, and when he healed you, you would follow him, that is all worship is, a life changing experience, that will last for ever. How amazing is that. What your missing is more of the person of Christ in your life, you can. But your thinking is narcissistic, Hm-mm

It's only narcissistic if you ain't worthy of it.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. - Col. 1:15-16

Should I worship you instead? That would be serving false gods. Jesus said several times He came to serve, not be served, but He is the Son of God, so yep, I'm gonna praise and worship Him until I die and see Him in Heaven, where I'll continue to praise and worship Him.

I don't think I ever read anywhere, him requesting to be worshiped. If that was ever in the bible, I think it would have been written by one of his apostles. The new testament was written by others than Jesus himself. The only thing I ever remember reading by his words were to worship his father. But then again, the bible was interpreted by men, so it may have some odd things in it.

Jesus is worthy of our worship. His sacrifice for you and I is far greater that you can imagine. He can do without your worship but you cannot do without worshiping Him. It is by your worship and acceptance of Him as the Son of God that will give you eternal life.

Actually, Jesus directed worship to his Father. He was the Logos, but he did his Father's will.

The thing you don't understand is that Jesus is God the Son. There's God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost, so Jesus is God, so we worship our one and ONLY creator God.

Well, we know that he certainly didn't correct St. Thomas (the Doubter) when he fell to his knees and worshiped Him, saying "My Lord and my God!"

So...the evidence says: Yes. He did.

The bible doesn't say to worship Jesus. It says to worship God, his father. That's why so many "Christians" can't get it right and have to split up into so many denominations.
