My father was in Italy and France in World War 2... a staff sergent in the Army (air corps?) I am interested in what he did for America. He is buried in Woods National cemetary with other patriot soldiers. I miss my father, and want to know more of his history. Please help if you can.

A Staff Sergeant is already given supervisory powers and your father could have led operations against the enemies duties battles especially when officers are not available or already killed or injured in action.
