We worry about the non-believer because for some Christians the love of God is in us. How can I not feel love for some one who is lost and one their way to hell, just like I was lost and on my way to hell. Also, we have family members who are not saved and they are entrapped with all kinds of sins which could take their life. For the true believer we know the power of God's Holy Spirit and His Word to deliver people from sin and sicknesses and diseases. As for the division in the church that's nothing new. Read your bible, their has always been some type of division even in the Old Testament. But, God has always had a season to bring everybody back on line and one accord. Today is no different. So why do I worry about something God will fix soon and the whole world will see it and know God did it.

This is how I see it.

Christians basically had denominations due to different interpretations of some key points in the bible which is oftentimes somehow affected by cultural upbringing.

However, I believe with all my heart that it all boils down to one key concept, that is accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and acknowledging Him as Lord over your life. Once you have received and done such, then no matter what you do, you can't help but to share it to other people. However, some people do tend to use "terrorism evangelism" when sharing it which could really annoy most people.

I hope that I was able to help you understand. :)

thank God Jesus came to reach others and not hold his saving knowledge of salvation. Man screws up God's church and divides it away from unity. the Jewish community is starting to accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah. This was for told in revelations. There is good and bad amongst all groups and divisions. They are even among the true believers. It is more important to reach non-believers < where Jesus spent his time on earth with> for God's grace will cover the sins of his people but without the acceptance of Jesus dieing on the cross their is no hope for the unbeliever.

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Acts 10:42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

1 Corinthians 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

1 Corinthians 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

1 Corinthians 9:14 Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.

1 Corinthians 9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

You make a good point. We Christians, no matter what denomination, all have this in common. We agree that non-Christians have the right to hear the truth.

Nothing wrong with different denominations..different view points...different ways to worship etc...we (born again Christians) are all the body of Christ...The un-saved on the other hand aren't. Simple as that

I agree with nancyjo, except that there are some who are believers, but have a faith built on inaccurate information. It's like taking a pile of pooh and (hypothetically) making it look, smell, taste, and feel like ice cream. The fact remains that it's still a pile of pooh! That's why Jesus said that many wil come to him saying "Lord, Lord, did we not do this and that in your name?" and he will tell them to "get away... I never knew you!" (I'm paraphrasing). Many think they have the bowl of ice cream, but will one day find out it was just a pile of pooh! They need to be warned before it's too late!

personally, i'm not worried about the non-believers at all. i often pray for them and i don't believe they will go to hell because i don't believe in hell. i know that sounds contradictory to the Bible, but, what you must remember is that God never told us the "right" perspective on the teachings of the Bible, he left interpretations to us. if Jesus himself spoke in parables and metaphors, why can't the whole Bible be interpreted metaphorically?

We might disagree with each other, but we're saved and its our job to bring the gospel to the lost and dying world.
