Well, to tell you what it is, you need to see a doctor. If it's spreading that quickly, it may be an allergic reaction and you should go to the hospital. Aside from that, you could try Benadryl (an antihistamine good for skin reactions... in the event that it is allergic), or Cortaid topically. You may need a steroid, but that is for the doctor to determine.

Good luck and feel better! I know what it's like to have a terrible itchy rash!!! :'-(

You should probably see a doctor to find out if it's an allergic reaction, but in the meantime, you can take benedryl (the antihistamine/allergy kind, not the cold formula). It will not only counteract the allergic reaction if that's what it is, it will block the histamines (histamines are what's making you itch.)

I wouldn't advise you to use a cream...it's dangerous to use a cream with medications in it such as cortizone all over your body. Those types of ointments are only recommended for small localized areas of itchiness.

Go to the pharmacy and there are anti-itch creams. Usally a benzociane or numbing medicine. Do you know what is causing the rash? I would be more concerned about what the cause is and if you don't know to go to the emergency room and get it evaluated.

You need to be checked out by a doctor. Could be an allergy or something else. Benadryl can usually counteract an allergy. Try that and if that doesn't work see a doctor.

Get some Aveeno cream or Cort-Aid. If it still bothers you tomorrow, see a doctor.
