Hi Alex,
I sense that you are asking this from your heart - out of concern that you may have committed the sin of blasphemy and that you may not be able to find forgiveness for it.
First, please notice that Yashua, Christ Jesus made this statement. He was incarnate - alive in the flesh. He was telling those that listened that if they should declared His power to be satanic in nature they could not find forgiveness. Their hearts were exhibiting a condition that was beyond divine illumination and therefor hopeless. Why? He was there in front of them and the power He exhibited was the power of the Holy Spirit.
This sin cannot be committed today. Only when Yashua was in a state of humiliation (in the flesh).
Today the only sin which is unforgivable is the sin of unbelief.

The case of "blasphemy against the Spirit" in the New Testament is mentioned in Mark 3:22-30 and in Matthew 12:22-32. The term blasphemy may be generally defined as "defiant irreverence." We would apply the term to such sins as cursing God, or willfully degrading things relating to God. It is also attributing some evil to God, or denying Him some good that we should attribute to Him. This case of blasphemy, however, is a specific one, called "THE blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" in Matthew 12:31. In Matthew 12:31-32, the Pharisees, having witnessed irrefutable proof that Jesus was working miracles in the power of the Holy Spirit, claimed instead that the Lord was possessed by the demon "Beelzebub" (Matthew 12:24). Now notice that in Mark 3:30 Jesus is very specific about what exactly they did to commit "the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit."
This blasphemy has to do with someone accusing Jesus Christ of being demon-possessed instead of Spirit-filled. There are other ways to blaspheme the Holy Spirit, but this was "THE" unpardonable blasphemy. As a result, the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit cannot be duplicated today. Jesus Christ is not on earth. but seated at the right Hand of God. No one can witness Jesus Christ performing a miracle and then attribute that power to Satan instead of the Spirit. Although there is no blasphemy of the Spirit today, we should always keep in mind there is an unpardonable state of existence--the state of continued unbelief. There is no pardon for a person who dies in unbelief. Continual rejection of the Holy Spirit’s promptings to trust in Jesus Christ is the unpardonable blasphemy. Remember what is stated in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life." The only condition when someone would have no forgiveness is if that someone is not among the "whoever believes in Him."

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is as simple as calling the fruits of the Holy Spirit evil. Like when Jesus healed someone by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Pharisees accused the Power to be evil. Jesus said that blasphemy of the Holy Spirit (the power of the invisible God) isn't forgiven.
People see the power of God & criticize it as of evil spirits. That is what people do, unwittingly, and the conscequences are immediate. That person criticizing the power or gift of the Holy Ghost will not be forgiven. They can't be forgiven when they are blaspheming the Holy Ghost. They aren't before God, humble repenting of their sin. They are mocking God. But when one realizes who God Is & repents of not believing in Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, then Jesus blood cleanses them from all sin. And then they are born of God and the Holy Spirit is with them and will fill them. If a Christian criticizes someone obeying & operating in the Holy Spirit, that Christian gets spanked by God. It isn't just winked at.

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirt can omly be commited by God's elect and only when antichrist is on earth pretebding to be the true Christ. God's elect will be delivered up before antichrist for a witness against him, thats how the gospel is spread to the whole world. God's elect are not to premeditate what they will say,for it is not them that speaks, but the Holy Spirit that speaks through them, just like at pentocost day. To rufuse the Holy Spirit to speak through you at that time, for a witness againt antichrist is unforgivable,Why? Because God's elect know who he is,in that he is the false christ, and not the true Christ. The false christ returns at the 6th trump, the true Christ at the 8th. Go in peace friend.

The blaspheming against the holy spirit you speak of is this!!!!
It is written that Satan is going to show up 5 months before Christ and sit in the holy temple claiming to be God/Christ. God has arranged to have some of his special people(his elect) to be around at that time. And they will be brought up before Satan to be converted into being his followers. These "elect" will witness against Satan and blow his cover. These "elect" are also instructed by God not to premeditate what they will say at that time( Mark 13 verse 11. check it out ). God will put into their minds what to say in that hour. However if they refuse to say what God has put in their mind to say but instead says something else then that is blaspheming the holy spirit and is the only sin that is unforgivable. Not to be forgiven in this world or the next.

All sins can be forgiven if one seeks forgiveness but there are some sins that are so seductive to certain individuals that they are powerless to have a desire to repent instead deceiving themselves into thinking that God's divine mercy will be more compelling at their judgment that God's justice. The eternity of these individuals is lost even though salvation was available through Christ if they had only repented and gone forth and sinned no more.

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is when you refuse to accept the forgiveness of God. God will not force God's Self unto anyone. Salvation is a gift freely given which must be freely accepted.

I never heard that. Do you know where you saw it? Catholics are taught that God always forgives. What is the "unforgiven" sin? Never heard of that. I would suspect if you say it sub consiously or when you are half asleep it is not actually a sin because you are not actually in your correct frame of mind.

blasphemy against the holy spirit is rejecting Jesus Christ as your lord and Savior, this is a conscious act with full consent of the will, I believe that subconcious "choices" aren't someone's fault, such as hypnosis or during sleep, because the person isn't willfully making choices. This is an expert site that you can ask questions to learn more.
