flying is ok but the day we leave its gonna rain and i dont like turbulence.....so is there anyway i can like take my mind off of the turbulence that may occur wen we take off?

As soon as they let you use electronic equipment, play a game or listen to music. I was just on a flight the other day and we had some pretty significant turbulence, but because I was playing Game Boy, my mind was on the game and diverted from the worry of the turbulence and I was just fine.

You should be more worried about being in Houston than on the flight there. Flying is the safest form of travel...yes it can get rough with the turbulence, but at least you don't have to worry about getting sideswiped by some jerk talking on a cellphone.

I'm a frequent flyer and have been traveling all over the world. What I usually do when the plane taking off is.. think of all the good things in life and pray for safety to all passengers. Believe me when you think good, you'll be fine.
