Like the other guys here, my answer is no need for you to use a passport. You are just going to another state within the United States. It's similar to going from one province to another of the same country.

Absolutely. And you need two additional ID's with picture. You may need also a visa if you come from California. Check with the Texan embassy in East Los Angeles.
Texas is out of this world !!!

No it is considered a domestic flight as you are not leaving the country. You will need just a government issued form of ID like your drivers licence

CA to TX is within the US......negating the need for international citizenship identification!
