ok so i started my diet last week,i walk the track and jogged for that week,now i my car is broken so i can't get to the track,i brought two workout dvds,kathy smith fat burner workout,and billy bootcamp,what ui want to know is if i do them everyday of the week will it work for me,will i loose at least 5lbs or more a week?

if you want the weight not to come back then by losing it the wright way you shouldnt lose more than 1-2lbs a week. if you lose more - you lose water weight and muscle NOT fat.
your body needs one day a week to relax and recover.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

For most people, it's unhealthy and very difficult to lose more than 2 lbs. per week. Typically, you see a huge weight loss your first week of diet/exercise because your body responds quickly to the shock, but thereafter your weight loss is more modest.

The good news is that by doing all that exercise, you will be reshaping your body, if not losing weight. Muscle mass is much more dense and leaner than fat, so, to a degree, your body changes shape without losing weight. Men tend to bulk up with strength training, whereas women tend to become lean.

You should really work out every other day. Loosing 5 lbs. in a week is not a good idea. Try eating better in addition to the workouts.....

i lost 15lbs in 5 days

1)jogging every morning (haw far? depends on your stamina)
2)tae bo 5 times a week (1hr) -i use billy blanks too!
3)hot yoga twice a week (1hr 30mins - to strech and relax your muscles from tae bo and jogging)

eat healthy and drink at least 80 ounces of water a day.

eating jalapenos and taking 3 table spoons of apple cider vinegar will boost your metabolism!

-i feel toned and really healthy =)

If you keep on doing them you should e able to loose 5lb in two week.

BE CAREFUL! If you lose fast it will just come back that much faster, I try to tell people all the time.. even losing 3lbs in a week is too much...so just pace yourself and don't rush it!

Why care if you can't go to the track..run there.
