i lost 15lbs in 5 days
i actually eat 5-6 snack portion sized meals a day. sounds a lot but it helps me from not starving and craving anything sweet or fried. i hope you're eating healthy! if you're not eating healthy, then you are over eating! but with diet and healthy foods, you'll see results in days. try these exercise too, while you're at it!
1)jogging every morning (haw far? depends on your stamina)
2)tae bo 5 times a week (1hr)
3)hot yoga twice a week (1hr 30mins - to strech and relax your muscles from tae bo and jogging)
eat healthy and drink at least 80 ounces of water a day.
eating jalapenos and taking 3 table spoons of apple cider vinegar will boost your metabolism!
-i feel toned and really healthy =)

The whole theory behind eating a lot of small meals, is so that you dont get hungry and binge. If your constantly eating small meals, you will not feel hungry and have that craving to just shovel food into your face. So it may not nessacerly work for you.
I know you probably know this by now, but the best way to lose weight is to exercise. Also, remeber that its not healthy to lose too much weight too soon. If you do it will not stay off and you will be losing muscle, not just fat. You need that muscle becuase if you have more muscle you burn more calories faster.

Weight loss isn't about changing your lifestyle for a month or two - going back to old habits is the reason no one can seem to keep the weight off. Weight loss is about changing your life for the rest of your life.
It will take a few weeks to drop the ten lbs (5-10 if you are doing it in a healthy manner). Its good to eat small snacks/meals every 3-4 hours, but remember you still have to exercise and drink plenty of water.

dont aim to lose more than 1-2lbs a week because if you lose more - you are most likely losing water weight or muscle.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

Thomas has the right idea. Eating small nutritious meals every three to four hours will help keep your metabolism up. A higher metabolism means weight loss. Of course, any diet should be supplemented with exercise. Good luck. What does the winner get?

That will help. But, you have to exercise as well. To lose weight, you calorie intake needs to be less than your calorie output. So, you have to burn more calories than you eat.
Personally, I eat anything I want (including sweets and junk food), in moderation, and I exercise regularly. I am losing weight while still eating regular foods. I have lost approximately 50lbs in roughly 9 months. AND STILL GOING...

pick up a 5 or 10 pound weight at the gym and visualize that weight coming off holding the weight in your hands helps bring home just how heavy even 5 pounds of extra fat can be
