And what is a simple recipe?

A simple recipe is to mix a cup of sugar or salt with a cup of oil (almond or olive are great but most commercial brands use safflower oil which is very light in body). Add your favorite fragrance oil and you have your scrub. As to which is best it depends on what kind of sugar or salt and where you want to use it. Salt scrubs do not dissolve as quickly as sugar scrubs so you get a bit more "scrub" time. Sugar will not irritate any abrasions you may have, while salt will. It also depends on how fine your sugar or salt is. A coarser grind of salt with olive oil would be good for feet, while you might prefer superfine sugar and a lighter oil for your face. Play around with it and see what you like best! Have fun experimenting!

Dont' know the recipe, but I like a sugar scrub better. Doesn't burn if you have any cuts on your skin!
