I have had brown hair my whole life. Its always been some shade of brown; sometimes reddish, sometimes almost black, sometimes my natural color with blonde highlights, etc. But its always been some shade of brown.

I've seen a lot of blondes in fashion magazines lately, though, and decided I might want to give it a try.

I have hazel eyes, dark eyebrows, and pale skin.

If you think I should try blonde, what do I do about my eyebrows? Should I lighten them? Should I leave them as they are? What? If I lighten them (if I even decide to go blonde), is it like dying, where you have to dye them every so often or they will go back to their original color? Or do they stay the shade you make them? If this is the case, how do I get them back to my natural color if I ever decide to go brunette again? I've never messed with my eyebrows...

If you think I should try blonde, which shade of blonde? I liked the lighter, summery blonde; not severe bleach, dirty blonde, etc. But I dunno.

Haley: I saw it in the magazines, and I really liked the way it looked on all the models and celebrities they featured. So I wanted to try it, just to see how it turns out. I'm so tired of brown hair. Its boring after a while.

It can be a really nice change going blonde especially since the sun's comin out now. But since you say u have dark hair, retouching the roots is a pain in the *** not to mention costly since the roots grow out so fast. Plus you would need to go to a real good hairdresser or else you could end up with a brassy or orangy blonde. Oh and no it won't just turn back to it's original color, to go blonde your hair will be bleached so you'll have to dye it back to a dark color to get rid of it. Good luck.

if u go blonde then it should look natural (unless u dont want it 2 ;-)

usually if u go 2 a salon the ppl there will help u pick out a color that suits u the best but if u dont want 2 go 2 a salon then ask ur friends and family 2 help pick out a color that suits u the best!

remember that if u do choose 2 go blonde then u will have 2 keep getting it dyed so ur roots wont show and that will damage ur hair alot

I have natural brown hair, dark brown eyes and dark brown eyebrows and im quite olive. Im going to a salon getting my hair lightnened tomorrow but im not getting my eyebrows lightened - look at Gwen Stefani for example! I do think you should think carefully about the colour you want to go. If you want to go a dark blonde then you could probably get away with having it one all over colour, but if you wanted to go quite light i think you should get a colour on top and keep your brown underneath or maybe streaks all over. Remember its upto you no-one else so do what you want to!

Go to a professional salon and try starting with lo-lights first, so it is not so drastic and this will add depth to your hair without all the dark roots, Try Golden Blonde, Carmel, and Light blonde (these shades are beautiful together) Good Luck

Well I am a natural blonde and agree with your color selections. You should go for a summery blonde or something not to light. You have to lighten your eyebrows. Just ask a hairstylest who colors your hair and they can do it for you.

I'm just like you, except I guess I have light brown hair and solid brown eyebrows. I think you should try a shiny brownish blonde.

Maybe if you really want to but do you really want to or do you just want to because a lot of blonds are in magazines if you just want to do it for a little change than go for it but if you just want to do it because a lot of blonds are in magazines than I think you should think about it a little more

Don't go from super dark to super light.
You should go from whatever color you have now to Honey, then a little lighter, and lighter, until you get the right shade... :)
