I know that he likes me and i like him too, we are both 13. The only problem is that we are in all the same classes so its akward.

Find something that you'd like to do and you think he'd like to do, and say, "such and such is happening Saturday at time. Would you like to come?".
If he says no, don't be too upset. 13 is an odd age and there's no knowing how he'll react.
