Because drinking brings down the wall of Inhibitions & fears! Some call it "Liquid courage." Drinking/being drunk makes us all a bit more fearless, a bit more guts & a bit more able to approach the guy/girl that we've been eye-balling!

Inhibitions go down a LOT.
That's why one of the guy's dating tricks is to try to get the girl they're interesting in shagging drunk. Once she's drunk, she's less likely to really know what she's doing. (I'm pretty sure that constitutes rape.)
Also, in the case of drunk men, all the normal repressed thoughts and feelings come out when they're inebriated, so they're more likely to be horny and less likely to actually be able to perform...if ya know what I mean.

Havent you ever heard of the song "The girls all get Prettier at Closing Time". They pay more attention when they are drinking because they are drunk.

hopefully you are not talking about beer goggles....Then if we are just talking drink, it would just be a bit of beer courage! You are good as long as you don't wake up in the morning and ask yourself what the heck was I thinking???

Makes fat women thinner.
Makes a beauty out of a dog.
Makes the shy brave.
Makes you think you are hot.
Overlooks little flaws, like warts, buck teeth, penises on women, zits.
