It was a purple lolipop, and tasted like berries. It made all the pain from my migrane go away. You can only get from a prescription, and some pharmacies don't carry it. You could take up to 2 lolipops and sometimes it made me feel light as a feather. It started with the letter A (i believe), and my new doctor can't figure out what it was. My old doctor moved out of state so I can't get a hold of her. My migranes are getting out of control again and that was the only thing that would work besides going to the hospital and getting shots in my rear end, which I hate!

There is not, to the best of my knowledge, an Oxycodone lollipop, and searches on drugs.com and google turned up nothing about it. There is an Oxycodone liquid called OxyFast. The only pain relief lollipop (or oralette) is Actiq, which is Fentanyl. They are very effective for occaisonal pain. Fentanyl also comes in a patch but it can take up to 24 hours to work and is therefore not effective for the pain you're describing; however yuo could ask your doctor about Fentora, which is an effervescent tablet that you disolve between your cheek and gum.

It's called Actiq, and apparently there was a large scandal about it... it causes substance abuse.

If you want, you can ask for prescription Fentanyl, which is what was in these lollipops.

Matter of fact, it looks like you might even be entitled to a settlement! Good luck.

These lollipop pain killers are prescribed to patients with chronic pain. The primary one used is call Actig and contains Fentanyl; a strong pain killer. The suckers are also made with oxycodone.
