Heya, Pagan sisters and brothers! I'm wondering where you all are.

Care to say what type of Pagan you are? Eclectic, Asatruar, Celtic Druid, Shamanistic, Hellenistic, etc? If you say you are Wiccan, please be specific, unless you're a Wiccan to your own tune.

Let's see what you believe in, also! What do you believe in for each of the following?

Deities: Only a Goddess, A God and a Goddess, A whole pantheon

Magick: Real, only on a stage, once was around but is now gone.

Fae: Real or Fake?

Vampires: Real, Only Psychic ones, Only Blood-sucking ones, Only in movies, Fake.

Ghosts: Real, Only in movies, fake.

"Mythical" creatures (Dragons, Phoenix, Unicorns, Chimera etc.): Real, Only in movies, fake.

Wiccan Rede: I follow it, not for me, fake.

Reincarnation: Believe in it, fake.

Just trying to get a feel for what sort of Pagans are hoppin' around on here!

Oh, for Deities, you may also choose to say you believe in all of them. I forgot to add that. Sorry!

I am Pagan with a heavy Wiccan influence. Actually...I just call myself Wiccan or Pagan. Whatever. Wicca is a form of Paganism anyways!

Deities: A God and a Goddess

Magick: Real.

Fae: Real

Vampires: Fake.

Ghosts: Real

"Mythical" creatures (Dragons, Phoenix, Unicorns, Chimera etc.): I believe that they are real in another realm if you wish them to be, and that is the case with anything you want to be real.

Wiccan Rede: I follow it.

Reincarnation: Believe in it!

Karma too! Don't forget karma!

Care to say what type of Pagan you are? I am Wiccan -- but I don't have a specific tradition just yet. I'm still finding my way, even after 4 years!!!

Let's see what you believe in, also! What do you believe in for each of the following?

Deities: A God and a Goddess / Whole Pantheonssssss

Magick: Real, our form of prayer and divination.

Fae: Real, so be careful of the little tricksters. I sure have had them play tricks on me, so I believe in them . . .

Vampires: I think this is something that is personal to an individual who follows it. I wouldn't dare judge that in which I am not familiar with, nor would I belittle anything that I am not fully educated in. It is a path genuine to the follower. Blessed Be.

Ghosts: Real. I've never seen or met any, but I have seen orbs in pictures, especially around my niece. There was a questionable experience once, between an object, my partner, and her deceased father, which I did witness with my own eyes . . . !!!

"Mythical" creatures (Dragons, Phoenix, Unicorns, Chimera etc.): Real. We call in the Dragons for special times, especially at Samhain!!!

Wiccan Rede: I follow it!!! "Do as as ye will with harm to none." It is equivalent to the "Golden Rule," pretty much, only more intense, because there is also the "Law of Three."

Reincarnation: Believe in it. Everything lives, dies, and is reborn. Life is energy. Just because people and things die, the energy does not . . . it only takes on a different form of energy . . .

i am at work. in Frederick MD. I am a Celtic Pagan. Druid is a title that i do not claim our of respect for the traditions that were followed to make a person a Druid. i will say that my beliefs are the same as theirs though.

Deities: Only a Goddess, A God and a Goddess, A whole pantheon

a pantheon and more. hell if i believe in 300 Celtic gods and goddesses, who am i to say that all the other ones do not exist.

Magick: Real, only on a stage, once was around but is now gone.

real in a spiritual or prayer sense.

Fae: Real or Fake?

very real.

Vampires: Real, Only Psychic ones, Only Blood-sucking ones, Only in movies, Fake.

the myth had to come from somewhere. today i would say psi-vamp is the most common. the rest ..well i have not met any so i do not know. when i do meet one i will tell you then that they are real.

Ghosts: Real, Only in movies, fake.

real.

"Mythical" creatures (Dragons, Phoenix, Unicorns, Chimera etc.): Real, Only in movies, fake.

were possibly real at one time. now exist as a spiritual entity

Wiccan Rede: I follow it, not for me, fake.

not for me. but i am a Celtic Pagan. so i have my own rules to follow. the last part of it however (do as you will as it harm none) i feel is a good standard to try to live by.

Reincarnation: Believe in it, fake.

believe in it.

I'm an Asatruar from FLA.

Deities: I'm a hard-polytheist. I believe that all Deities exist as separate individual beings but I certainly don't worship them all. I stick to the Norse pantheon.

Magick: Not with a K. Practicing magic or doing any sort of spells in general doesn't interest me. This doesn't mean I don't think it's real mind you.

Fae: Not exactly. I do believe that the Landsvættir (Land wights) which are land spirits, the guardian spirits of the woods, forests, and streams, exist. You also have other types of spirits and beings, Ljosalfar (elves), Svartalfs (dwarfs), Risir, Nykar, Ettins, etc. They are the embodiment of different forces either order or chaos.

Vampires: Psychic ones yeah, in that there are toxic people out there that can drain your energy when you're around them.

Ghosts: No, don't believe in ghosts. Ancestral spirits? Yes, but they aren't quite the same thing because the Disir are more like demi-deities.

"Mythical" creatures: Nope.

Wiccan Rede: No, not at all. I follow the Nine Noble Virtues.

Reincarnation: Possible, but unlikely. I'm skeptical.

I am a Wiccan. I follow a modernist Wiccan Path called Progressive Wicca. We focus on the scientific proof behind Wicca and furthering our knowledge and placement in society. Currently, I am running a study group for Wiccans/Pagans in the Chicago area.

I've been Wiccan for about 8 years.

I adhere to the Principles of Wiccan Belief

1. Deities-I believe that the Gods are the forces of Nature and part of the collective Natural Energy that permeates all things.

I believe that this energy can be categorized by many sets of polarities. Male/Female, Dark/Light, etc.

I honor Gods in Pairs, each having a consort. There must be a balance. Mostly, these pairs are male/female, but not always.

Magick-The Magickal arts are severely diminished by our diminished capacity to encorporate them. We had all but forgotten the part of our brains that acts like a switch to convert energy into spiritual energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, but it can be changed.

Fae: I've seen Fae, so I know they exist, but mostly, they exist on the Spiritual Plane. They send messages and feelings to those who ask for them. They protect forests and sometimes. people.

Vampires: As much as blood sucking Vampires are cool, I seriously doubt their existance. Psy Vamps are another story. I believe that there are two types of people. Projectors and Receptors. Some people are meant to give energy and others take it.

Ghosts: Seen a few in my time. I have other witnesses that saw with me at certain occasions.

Mythical Creatures- I do find it odd that almost every culture has a Dragon. It could be dinosaurs, etc. But They could also be manifestations of energy from the Spiritual realm.

Wiccan Rede, I follow it, but I include a clause for self defense.

Reincarnation-ties into energy cannot be created or destroyed. So yeah, it seems most logical. Some would ask how you can believe in Ghosts and Reincarnation, but I believe that the soul has different paths it can take. Some stay too attached to the physical realm and cannot move on to the summerland where they will be reborn.

Hope I answered your q's to your satisfaction. I look forward to reading all the answers.

Central Canada, Alexandrian-trained Wiccan.

Deities: God and Goddess; agnostic soft polytheist, all Gods and Goddesses are probably aspects of an ultimate God and Goddess. Personally I honor Brigid, the Morrigan, Bast, Herne, and Apollo.

Magick: Real.

Fae: Probably fake; I've seen no proof.

Vampires: Energy vampires might exist; I've run into a couple of people who would qualify. Other kinds, no.

Ghosts: Probably only in movies; in real life, if they exist at all, probably "recordings" on the substance of the universe, not autonomous entities.

"Mythical" creatures (Dragons, Phoenix, Unicorns, Chimera etc.): Only in movies.

Wiccan Rede: I follow it. However, I follow a more recent innovation from the Lycian Tradition: "If you harm none, do what you will. If you must harm, do only what is necessary."

Reincarnation: Uncertain. Given that the rest of the universe runs in cycles, it would make sense, and there's some anecdotal evidence of past life recall in very young children. On the other hand, if consciousness is entirely tied to brain function, that wouldn't be a tragedy.

Solitary Eclectic; Druidic and Taoist leanings

Deities: my beliefs have a Toaist bent in that all the universe is a collective part of divinity. Throughout history, it was easier to understand and relate if it was ascribed to a human-like persona.

But to me, it is not a matter of worshiping a person-type, but rather, harmonizing with the flow of nature and the elements and aspects that govern nature and the universe. We embody these aspects of nature into a personal form for the ease of focusing on them more efficiently

Magick: Real inner magick; not stage tricks or Hollywood special effects

Fae: In some form i'm sure there may be faeries; hidden folk interacting in this world

Vampires: People who love blood? i'm sure it can be a learned habit

Ghosts: Real

"Mythical" creatures (Dragons, Phoenix, Unicorns, Chimera etc.): On an astral level

Wiccan Rede: it has been a steady guideline

Reincarnation: Death is the birth pangs into another world (but then i shall not know until i'm there, aye?)

Im from rural Illinois, but am currently stationed in Northern Greenland near the North Pole. I am an Eclectic Pantheist.

Deities: No supreme deity, or any that I worship to.

Magick: Possibly real depending on how you interpret it.

Fae: Real

Vampires: no opinion

Ghosts: Real, have seen many

"Mythical" creatures; all myths come from a truth

Wiccan Rede: I follow a different path

Reincarnation: uncertain

Denver, CO. Daemonolatry (i.e. I worship darker Gods that are considered Demons, or Divine Intelligences).

I believe in entire pantheons of deities.

I believe Magick is part psychological tool, part manipulation of matter on some level. Regardless - I believe there is a scientific explanation behind it.

Fae - I don't know what that is. If it's fairies - I've never been introduced, so until that happens, no.

Vampires - only psychic vampires.

Ghosts - I'm inclined to believe so based on personal experience.

Mythical creatures - no.

Wiccan Rede, not for me, not because I don't believe in doing good, but rather I see everything as a shade of gray and believe all magick is fair game.

Reincarnation - I want to believe.

I'm here! I'm a pagan Taoist.

Deities: Only in a symbolic, metaphorical sense. Any and all.

Magick: Slang for unseen energy. Not fully understood but can be manipulated.

Fae: Fantasy.

Vampires: Only metaphorical.

Ghosts: ...jundecided, willing to entertain possibility

"Mythical" creatures (Dragons, Phoenix, Unicorns, Chimera etc.): Symbolic.

Wiccan Rede: Do as you will, an it harm none. Works for me.

Reincarnation: undecided
