always.... He is the peace and rest when we are weary... He can fill us with Joy when we are mourning and sad.... He comforts us in a way that is indescribable!

indeed, i have found rest in Jesus Christ. in everything that happens to me, most especially in times of trouble, i feel like I'm lying down on green pastures, knowing the fact that Jesus Christ is with me and that he will never ever leave my side.
for so many times, Jesus Christ has proven that his promise in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.", is for real and Jesus Christ is really more than faithful enough to remain true.

I've found rest from trying to be justified in God's sight by keeping the law. As to physical rest, no, I haven't found all that much because as it was written...
Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
...and while no amount of good works can add an iota to the finished work of Christ Jesus on the cross, I certainly don't want to stand before the judgment seat of Christ and be called a wicked, lazy servant. I want to hear those longed for words, "Well done, good and faithful servant!"

I have found more than rest. I have found a new look at life, i have found true beauty, i have found true peace, I have found contentment, I have found a new me, I have found that I can climb the tallest mountain (metaphoically for those who take things literally) I have found that I can have the best life ever when I know that all my sorrows and all my heartaches are given to him and that he will guide me through all the storms anybody can throw at me. I have found a true love and fulfillment in his name. I hope that you have and others will too!

I believe that I have found rest as in peace of mind. But he still has much to do through me here, so I have found physical energy not rest.

Yes, I have, and the comment from alotta s,--- I am not a sick puppy. But, I had rather have Jesus and be a sick puppy, than to not have Jesus and be a healthy dog.
