Pay for what? If you are required to use a credit card for a specific purchase, you can always go to Walgreens and buy a visa gift card, or usually most malls have either visa or american express gift cards. Read the back of the card and they give you a website so you can register your card in your name so online purchases will work. Those are the two cheapest places I can think of to buy a prepaid credit card...if you have check cashing places around you, they usually offer them for a $5 fee or so. If it comes down to you living in an isolated area with none of those options available, just go to www.gift2go.net. You can buy one online there.

I also hope that you are finding free money orders if your actually using them to pay all of your bills. At least where I live, there are tons of places that offer free money orders, and you don't have to give them any other business.

If you do not have a credit card and only pay with money orders, you credit score remains where it is.

What are you paying off with money orders?
If you use money orders for paying your rent, gas, and electric and any other monthly bills, you are waisting money.

You can only hurt yourself by the way you are doing business.
Your credit can be dinged by being late on your payments. Nothing positive can happen by what you are doing except if you are trying to dig yourself out of a hole.

Where do you keep your cash? If it is in your apartment, what are you going to do if the place burns down or you are robbed?

You need to protect whatever cash you own. Some should be in a savings account, some in a checking account.
First, get a savings account, this will secure your money and you will be given a DEBIT card. Do not confuse this with a CREDIT card. It is only good for what you have in your account.

Look at the cost of these money orders.
Compare the cost of them to having a checking account.
Go with the least expensive.

You seem to have access to the computer, you may be able to take your bank account, and pay your bills on line and this will save the cost of purchasing money orders. The most expensive way to pay bills.

Maintain good records on you accounts and be careful.

My profile has more information under credit. There are cards nowadays that come guaranteed and without credit checks, even international. These are the cards you should source.
