No. The number 7 usually has to do with the material world, matter, things 'below' the heavenly realm. The number 12 usually signifies the heavenly realm, the spirit, 'above'. Female is also an aspect of the material world. Showing the Female crowned with 12 stars signifies that the material, man, matter, etc...has 'conquered' or 'overcome' the 7 necessary components that are needed to be mastered on the mundane plane and is now crowned with the higher, spiritual realm which contains 12 other components. 7 can be seen in the rainbow ROYGBIV, when light is fractured into the spectrum when it hits water, another symbol of matter. 7 can be seen in the 7 creation days of the mundane world. There are many uses/examples of 7/12. The sun above her head is also a symbol of the heavenly, God, spirit, while the moon is a symbol of matter/earth/material/man...Again showing that she has conquered the mundane/matter/material and is now clothed with the heavenly, higher, spirtiual Sun. Israel is also a symbol of the higher/spiritual while Egypt was symbolic of the mundane/matter/man

In Revelation chapter 12, the woman is described as "clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars" (Revelation 12:1). Note the similarity between this description and the description that Joseph gave of his father Jacob (Israel) and his mother and their children (Genesis 37:9-11). The stars refer to the twelve tribes of Israel. So, the woman in Revelation 12 is Israel.

Rev 12:1 A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. Note is does not say this is the Virgin Mary. I believe it is more likely a symbol for Israel, with the twelve stars representing the 12 tribes.
