Because there's a real satan who uses religions to confuse people and try to lure them away from the One and Only True God. Satan is alive and well on planet earth, hoping to take as many people to the lake of eternal fire with him.

Because, when you get right down to it, they all worship the same God, but refer to God in different ways.
That's why it's so silly when any one religion says they are "better" than another. As long as you treat everyone well, and as you would like to be treated, your religion is OK with me.
Just make sure EVERYONE is included - women, LGBT people, divorced people, the poor - or you are being a hypocrite.

there are many gods, money, fame, yourself, baal. Whatever you place of highest importance in your life is your god. However there is only one true God. He has power over all. Satan isn't exactly sitting on his hands waiting for the final battle. He is trying to fool as many as possible to keep them away from God. So he tells people to follow a false god.

It's the devils way of steering people off track to the one true real religion. God gave us free will to choose, for he uses all of the devils tactics for his good. He doesn't force love on anybody so he lets us choose him or the others. May God Bless You.

Because all of the religious denominations that were started after the death of Christ, were started by individuals who interpreted the bible scriptures to suit there own needs, and their greed for power and wealth has made them all fall from grace in the eyes of God, there are no churches today that preach for the welfare of the soul and spirit, they only preach for the welfare of the church. may God bless.

Actually there one god is you and you are not willing to take it on your shoulder. So many religious are because of so many ideas in the world to interpretations the hollyman said. The hollymen told their own
experiences. The followers interpretated other methods to the believers.

My Gods and Goddesses should not be confused with your one "god".I would bet this one god is the "christian god" am i right?Well i would tend to believe in all the gods of all faiths as long as they don't say "he or she is the only one".I know that if they say that than there fake!

Why do you assume that there is even one god?
It seems to me that if there were one true god who cared to be worshipped in a certain way, he would have straightened this **** out by now.
