It's I. Me is the object of a preposition, I is not. One way to tell, as in the sample sentence, is to delete Sally. Would you say I took turns or me took turns...

It is supposed to be "I". "I" is a subject pronoun. "me" can never be the subject noun of a sentence. You would never say "me did the dishes," would you? "Me" can only be used as a direct object, indirect object, or object of the preposition. i.e. "Sally did the dishes for me." in that sentence "me" is the object of the preposition "for". you wouldnt say "Sally did the dishes for I" because "I" can only be the subject of the sentence. Hope this helps!

I.

You can figure out if it should be "I" or "me" by taking out the other person and just saying the sentence as it is. "Me took turns washing the dishes" sounds awful. "I took turns washing the dishes" is better, though not the best grammar.

'I' is correct. But in America you will hear the spoken english as 'me' a lot of times. It is incorrect, but still, it is used commonly.
