Depends on the type of staph infection you are talking about, if it is topical Keflex may help with it. If your talking about MRSA it will not, vancomyicin helps with it. Though some can be vanco resistant. Check with your physician to be sure. They can do a culture & sensitivity to determine the exact medication that is sensitive to clearing it up.
