I was writing a document on microsoft word. I saved it in the usual way. I then deleted everything on the page and proceeded to write a new document with the intention of changing the 'Save as' name when I saved it. But I forgot and hit the save tab on the toolbar. Now I have lost my first document and I desperately need it. Please help. How do I revert back to the document that I saved first?

Unless you made a backup of the original document before you started to modify it then you have probably lost the original version. You could have a look in the Recycle Bin to see if Word dumped a copy of the original document there, but don't hold your breath.

Well, if you still have it open you can undo undo undo until you get back to the original document. You can do this if you have not closed the document. If you closed it I am afraid you are SOL :(

Been there, done that. I feel for you bud. Suck it up and take it like a man, thats all you can do.

Although I would love it if someone gets a real solution to this.

there may be a backup file that will be the previous version to the one you had.
