There was a time in my life where right before I went to sleep I dreaded somthing and didn't know what it was. I would start to cry and then sleeping was hard...it was almost like a panic attack. after some time of this I realized it was about going to work in the morning. I had a partcularly difficult resident at the nursing home to deal with that I worked at. I wouldn't doubt if it was the medication, read up on it, and 6 children no matter how much you love them would overwhelm the best parents.

Are you drinking a lot of caffeine during the day? If you do then do you drink caffeine in the evening? This can cause you to become restless. Also, what helps me at times is drinking warm Sleepy Time tea an hour or so before bedtime. Watch your sugar intake too. Like you said, there's a combination of things that bother you. You need to learn to set those things aside. I'm serious, just put those things that bother you behind you and tell yourself that tomorrow you will deal with them. Make it an early evening regimen to do that and you will find yourself totally relaxed before bedtime. It takes practice.

Pray about it, baby. Ask God to remove this fear from your heart, and give you peace. Any of us could go at any time. Age is only one cause.
There are countless opportunities for worry, in this life. So we have to keep perspective. Who, by worrying can add one inch to his height? (Biblical paraphrase) No one. The point? We must realize, acknowledge, and be at peace with our limitations as mere human beings. Practically, do what you can to live a healthy life, having respect for the life that God gave you. Leave the rest in the willing and capable hands of the Almighty God.
You can either bring your fear to realization, by killing yourself with stress - or you can choose to live. I know its not easy, but practice focusing yourself. When that fear comes knocking, pray. Close your eyes. Take a slow, deep breath, and hold it as long as you can. Then exhale slowly. Repeat a few times, and this will calm your nerves.
Many thoughts invade the mind, but we have the power to entertain or diffuse them. Train your mind to think positive. Soon you will speak positive - and the tongue is powerful - for what we speak, we reinforce to ourselves. We are capable of causing ourselves to believe a lie. So use your power of will, for good.
I pray this helps you. Be at peace.
