The stuff I have seen going on they are slowly taking our rights away. You can talk of rebellion but who is willing to give there life for it.

Since I believe, as did our Founding Fathers, that "...all men are created equal; that they are endowed BY THEIR CREATOR with certain INALIENABLE rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness..." that my rights, having been bestowed by God can not be revoked by mere fiat of man. I would, therefore, in my public endeavors live exactly as I did before, and would encourage others to do the same.

Incidentally, those who are pushing to remove God from all vestiges of public life are sawing off the branch they sit on all the while supposing they are protecting their freedoms.

You assume this is not already happening!! Little by little we are losing our freedoms and our rights. Its been going on since the 60s realistically. But since 9-11, Bush has convinced us that if we let him do this little thing here, we'll be safer, however, to do that, you have to give up this freedom here. I agree with Ben Franklin : Those who would give up alittle freedom for a little security deserve neither freedom nor security

I would do as I am told...or, move! Ask the smokers who once had the right to smoke OUTSIDE! Now, they don't in places! I would think they would have more to say on this since they have been the first victims of removal of freedoms!

The price of freedom is eternal vigilance. There is nothing wrong with taking arms up against your leaders when they abuse their power. In fact, our forefathers recommended this very course of action.

We've been told we have fewer rights, little by little. Before it got to the point you're describing, I would leave the country.

Aren't you getting pretty close to what has actually happened? Those who wanted to destroy "the American way of life" actually succeeded, without firing a shot: GW did it for them.
