Im so torn because I dont believe that the war with Iraq is justified and I truly believe that the U.S . needs to get out of Iraq. I think that Iran is much more serious situation though. Iran is saying that they have the capability to create a nuclear bomb within a years time. This is a terribly frightening thing, the idea that someone that unstable has the power to kill millions of people is absolutly terrifying. I also believe that once a country has a nuclear bomb a war with them becomes dangeriously risky. If the U.S. were to over throw a regim that had nukes wouldnt the leader be inclined to use these bombs before he was taken out of power, especially a guy like the leader of Iran. This is just such a controversial issue and I dont know how to stand on it. I think war is terrible thing and im not a war hungry America who is holds a grudge against anyone from the middle east because of sept 11. I just dont think you can wait until a nuclear bomb is used to do something.

the US is the only country to use an atomic weapon....Iran has as much right as the US to have them....US gets into trouble "telling" people how to live...you cannot force freedom...i have been there....just like Iraq...you come down my street armed and tell me how to live...i will shoot your @ss...or bomb you ...US needs to learn to fix it's own problems...first...then help others...thanks for asking...ps...US supports Isreal...we will get more black eyes like 9/11

No, it's just not practical at this time. Iran is a harder target now than Iraq was, and the US military is getting pretty worn out. And, as bellicose as Amadinajad (sp?) may seem, he's probably pretty sane compared to Kim Jong-il (who hasn't been crazy enough to nuke anybody yet), and, he does not actually hold all that much power when it comes to foriegn policy (policies like "who should we lob a nuke at today") - those who do hold that power have been less confrontational.
Of course, there's the very real possibility that a nuclear Iran could pass nukes to pet terrorists for delivery to thier enemies - a form of attack that might be deniable enough to prevent retaliation...

america will get annihilated when it attacks iran it will be the dawn of WW3 the west will go down and the east will rise thats how it will go
america is really weak to attack iran and sustain retaliation or attacks from china and russia

Iran may get ONE NUKE in 5 YEARS. Israel has an Arsenal of NUKES and other WMDs and is in Violation of over 30 UN Resolutions.
