If I go to a bar or a club and don't want to drink, the only thing left to me is Coka Cola or Pepsi amongst other fizzy beverages. Could anyone recommend a drink to me that is non alcoholic and doesn't sound as farty as 'coke please'?

Have a Shirley Temple. If you feel foolish ordering that ask for Grenadine and 7-up. Have you had a virgin daiquiri or margarita?
Also Club soda with OJ or cranberry juice. I love Club soda plain! And don't forget to ask your bartendar or waiter to recommend something. They would know best!

Hey, you can order a "Roy Rogers" although it is simply Pepsi/Coke with Grenadine in it at least you don't have to say "give me a Cheery coke. " Most folks who drink alcohol don't even know what it is. That way, you can order it and they'll think that you ordered a "manly" drink. You can alo order another drink called an "Arnold Palmer" and that is simply Ice tea with lemonade in it. So, there you have it two non-alcholoc drinks with "manly" names. If all else fails you can ask for any drink at the bar "virgin" style. A la "Virgin XYZ(insert drink name). If you say it quietly to the bartender, no one will be the wiser that your drink does not have alcohol in it.

Well, if Pepsi and Coke sound "farty", then I guess asking for a Shirley Temple is out of the question! How about asking for any drink you want and just add, "virgin" to it, meaning without alcohol. Good luck.

Personally I like soda water with a twist of lime, but there are some drinks that are good sans alcohol. Bloody Mary come to mind for instance.

Water on the rocks with a lemon. Looks more like a party beverage with out being alcoholic.

cranberry juice and soda water with lime, you will look like you are drinking amongst others but are actually drinking very healthy. I have been a bartender for over 20 years and see this all the time.

Don't be ashamed. I ask for a club soda with lime. Or you could ask for an Arnie Palmer. It's half iced tea, half lemonade, and usually garnished just like an alcoholic tea.

The standard for people who have quit drinking alcohol but still like to hang out in bars is tonic with a lime. If you like the taste of beer, ask for one of the non-alcoholic brews. like O'Douls, by brand name.

They should carry non-alcoholic malt drinks, that are basically beer without the alcohol. Grocery stores around here carry them as well. Learn the names and ask for them, or ask the bartender for a non-alcoholic malt drink/beer.

Depending on the bar you could order a virgin Daiquiri or margarita, or a virgin version of any of those other drinks that are based on some kind of sugary stuff.
