Where do you staple your w-2 form to the 1040 form. I know there is a certain spot but I can't find where.

It should be indicated on the left-hand side of the form.

The form says "Attach Form(s) W-2 Here" Just below the word INCOME on the left side of the form. Don't use a staple. Paper clips are preferred. Removing staples slows down their processing.

Try looking along the left margin of the form.

about half way down left side(near Question 7) but do not staple your payment, make sure you enclose it with your SS# on it though.
