I found a car for $7,000, but there's an asterisk leading to, "Reflects $2,000 cash or trade". Does this mean if I pay in cash that the car is $7,000?

It means that it is $7,000 after you give them $2,000 down or trade in a car worth $2,000. The car actually costs $9,000.

No, probably $9000. They are probably talking about financing or a lease, and the "reflects" part is like the down payment.

It means the car is 9,000 bucks. but they are saying that it will be 7,000 after you pay 2,000 down on it.
