why are some people so rude with answers and comments on this site it is supposed?

I take this answer service very serious,do not make fun of any ones problems I try to help out where possible--and I am certainly never rude,I would rather not answer the question. some of the time I do not know where some of the silly questions come from.Hope this puts you clear about me.x

There are always some rude people anywhere. Online, there are more, because they can be anoymous. That way quite a few people who wouldn't dare being so rude in person feel all brave and strong to type rude answers from the safety of their own home. It's a pretty childish thing really.

But the best thing you can do is ignore such behaviour. Apart from some people who just feel *very* strongly about an issue and lose their temper, most of these rude folks just do this to get a rise out of others. If people get angry and respond to them -either in the same answer thread or with a question such as yours- that is exactly what they want, they love it! On the other hand, if no one were to respond, their 'joke' would fall flat, they'd quickly get bored and find something else to do. So either ignore them or if it's really bad, hit the 'report' flag and give them an abuse report (it doesn't show up for anyone else to see except as a thumbs-down). Don't give them the satisfaction of calling even more attention to their antics!

I like that it will help us meet those from different countries. I like to make online friends. It's fun.

When people are rude, it takes all the fun away. It makes me not want to come on here. I think some people are insecure about themselves so they have to pick on internet people

For most of us, online is the Second Life. Things that people can't or don't prefer to do in the real world, they do here. Being rude or sarcastic is one. It's just a way of letting out one's inhibitions. And ofcourse, nobody judges them here and there is no watch as well.

Some people just get off on drama. Their friends have probably long since realized it and went their own way so all that's left in their lives is the people on the internet. It's kinda sad really.

There was one prat on a few days ago who answered..
"YO MAMA SUCKS D*CKS" to every question that was asked.I'm glad that he is no longer here, and remember that other cretin who drew a rude finger gesture, he's gone too. If we report all the abusive ones they will be banned.

You dont understand because youre an honest person. (I'm assuming, given the nature of your question)

But there are dishonest people who inside themselves are hateful and are ashamed to show that in public, so they turn to places where they can be hateful anonymously, like...Yahoo! Answers. The only thing that can happen to them here is getting violation notices and maybe get banned, but they dont care, and they keep coming back, because it makes them feel better to be hateful towards others.

Just do your best to ignore them. Responding to their hate and rudeness just makes them continue doing it. If everyone ignores them eventually theyll stop.

You know, I ask myself that question every time I go on Yahoo! answers, but I find most of the folks on here are witty and funny and also informative, so don't give up hope, just disregard the nasty's and you'll get along fine, welcome to Yahoo!
